Wut do i hv to do to make u happy???

i nd to decide entertainment for my guest during the reception...i dnt wanna be typical me..or creating my wedding day into Anugerah Juara Lagu..there are a few types of entertainment dat are always chosen during reception...

1. The Gamelan



Gamelan is a bunch of guys in batik sambil berkemban knocking to little xylophones playing mistical tunes...hehe..not all gamelan players berkemban like dat..hiks..i wish i can have a gamelan group playing at my wedding using kemban kain batik..n im gonna choose hunks wif 6 pack for my guest's eye candy..wakaka..gamelan in kuching costs about RM1000 per session..if u wanna opt for cheaper one, use gamelan played from the cassette..haha..zaman kaset..ok ok...played from cd..

2. Ever-so-famous zapin



Zapin is old style clubbing for the 40s..fast tunes wif mind boggling steps..best perform by kids..i lurve zapin especially those from johor..we hv our own zapin in sarawak but the steps i found a bit more subtle than the wests..Zapin is quite cheap for use..its around RM300-RM400 per session regardless the number of dancers..

3. Old timer karaoke



Diz one really hv to be kful..u mau end up having a singer like mak tiri zoela or untapped talent like mama rina..so do ur research here on who is going to sing for ur reception.u wudnt want to hv sumine singing like ahpek at chinese wedding who sumtimes doesnt seem to end his vibrato (ewahhh...hasil menonton akademi fantasia)..everything was sand 'long pau au au au au au ....' <---vibrato kat ujung..ive done my research n a pair of singer only cost u RM150 to sing any lagu of ur choice..

4. Or u can opt for kugiran serba boleyyyy



This one is fine too..excep sumtimes i always find they dnt practice enuff n u'll find them having wrong notes played here n there...hmmm..n its always playing lagu 'selamat pengantin baru'..well...i guess its ok..anggap la its the cheaper version of having paramore playing on ur wedding day..

So dats the typical entertainment if u go to a malay wedding in kuching..so wut do i really wan for entertainment??

1. Perhaps joget lambak ala ning



i really need to think outside the box on how to incorporate joget lambak into my wedding...cant really imagine my aunts n uncles loosing up to joget tunes..hiks..

3. Wut about bergendang???

i hv no pic of diz but basically...(juz a malaysian way to show dat we really kno diz subject matter..hehe) it is a bunch of women playing gendang and singing pantun while the guys show their lame move n replying the women's pantun..get it?

4. Or even opera singer??



Haha..gotta be joking. i can already sense the old people saying 'apa nama dilagu nya ya jahhhh'...hiks (Jah is a tipikal malay name for women.i can assure u to go to any kampung in malaysia n u will b sure to find at least one 'jah' liviing there..hehe


5. Or head banging to Good Charlotte..



Now i hv to prepare ambulance..just in case..terkejut dgr bunyi bass dak madden bros..ooo mak kaaauuuu!!!

Imagine a wedding wif nabil of raja lawak....muahahahahaha...

Yeah yeah...im getting nowhere..but i still hv to decide tho..
